Kraków, Poland – We are happy to announce the official exhibition dates for “Utracone,” a dynamic multimedia installation shedding light on the historical pillaging of artwork during wartime and colonization. The exhibition will run from the 9th to the 28th of May, 2023.
We cordially invite you to join us for the opening reception on the 9th of May at 6:00 PM. The event will mark the beginning of this thought-provoking exhibition.
In addition to the opening, we have planned painting workshops on the 10th of May from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, offering a unique opportunity to engage with the artistic process firsthand.
On the 11th of May at 6:00 PM, there will be a special meeting with the participating artists, providing valuable insights into their creative inspirations and experiences.
Join us at Galeria Podbrzezie, located at ul. Podbrzezie 3 in Kraków to witness “Utracone” and reflect on the historical significance of art pillaging.
About Galeria Podbrzezie
Galeria Podbrzezie presents projects in art and design and interdisciplinary initiatives. Additionally, the gallery conducts educational activities, such as lectures, meetings, and workshops. Galeria Podbrzezie was established to showcase and promote artistic and artistic-research achievements, focusing on disseminating contemporary art through exhibitions, happenings, meetings with creators, cultural and artistic performances, and readings and lectures by cultural and art figures. It further deepens research on contemporary art and media and undertakes scientific, artistic, educational, and cultural endeavors.
